General Information for Fairgoers The Puyallup Fairgrounds Puyallup Fair Rodeo/Western Rodeo Parade Roughstocked and Timed Events

The Puyallup Fair will open on April 20, 2006 and close 3 days later on April 23, 2006. Come and enjoy 3 days of fair fun. During these 3, fun-filled days, fairgoers will be able to enjoy numerous fair events, such as the Swifty Swine Pig Races, Petting Farm, Pirate’s Parrot Show, and talents shows at Showplace Stage, and so much more.

General Information for Fairgoers. The Puyallup Fair’s hours are Sunday through Thursday from 10am to 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 11pm. Admission prices are: adults $10.00, youth and seniors $7.00. Parking fees are $7.00 Monday through Friday, $8.00 on Saturday and Sunday.  [Top]

The Puyallup Fair Rodeo and Western Rodeo Parade. The Puyallup Fair hosts Rodeo events, consisting of two types of rodeo competitions, Roughstocked and Timed events.  The Western Rodeo Parade is an hour long and non-motorized event, displaying musical entertainment, military marching band, equestrian drill teams, draft horse hitches, and more.  [Top]

The Puyallup Fair Rodeo’s Roughstocked and Timed Events. In the Roughstocked event, the rider, using only one hand, must remain on a bucking bull or horse for 8 seconds!  Scores are determined by both the rider and animal’s performance.  The Timed event consists of Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, and Barrel Racing.  In this event, the contestants compete against the clock.
