General Information for Fairgoers. The Puyallup Fair’s hours are Sunday through Thursday from 10am to 10 pm, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 11pm. Admission prices are: adults $10.00, youth and seniors $7.00. Parking fees are $7.00 Monday through Friday, $8.00 on Saturday and Sunday. [Top]
The Puyallup Fairgrounds. The Puyallup Fairgrounds is located at 110 9th Ave SW, Puyallup, Washington and is known to be the nation’s 5th largest fair. The Puyallup Fairgrounds is just 15 miles from the Best Western Peppertree Auburn Inn and opens on September 8th and closes on September 24, 2006. That’s 17 days of Puyallup Fair fun!

The Puyallup Fair Rodeo and Western Rodeo Parade. The Puyallup Fair hosts Rodeo events, consisting of two types of rodeo competitions, Roughstocked and Timed events. The Western Rodeo Parade is an hour long and non-motorized event, displaying musical entertainment, military marching band, equestrian drill teams, draft horse hitches, and more. [Top]
The Puyallup Fair Rodeo’s Roughstocked and Timed Events. In the Roughstocked event, the rider, using only one hand, must remain on a bucking bull or horse for 8 seconds! Scores are determined by both the rider and animal’s performance. The Timed event consists of Steer Wrestling, Team Roping, Tie-Down Roping, and Barrel Racing. In this event, the contestants compete against the clock.
